Do You Freeze Your Hands Off at Sporting Events?
Author: admin

Most sporting events are held outside and during some seasons it can be cold out while watching the sporting events, and there is some sports held inside like hockey where it’s always cold. A lot of people like to enjoy a couple drinks while at sporting events but you can freeze your hands off holding cold drinks while in cold temperatures. Now it might be difficult to enjoy the game while your hands are falling off, but there is an alternative to this situation.
Stadium cups are drink holders that you can put your drink in and then hold it without feeling the coldness on your hands from the drink. Usually stadium cups are used when camping but there also very useful for sporting events. You can find personalized stadium cups online or you can find non-personalized stadium cups in your local stores, but I always prefer having a custom stadium cup. If you have a personalized stadium cup then you won’t run the risk of mixing it up with your friends.
You can pack stadium cups easily into a tote bag and bring it with you to the sporting event along with anything else you might need. A tote bag is a lightweight big bag that is used for carrying your items, and can be great when attending a sporting event or going camping. The bags fit a lot of items and it’s water resistant and lightweight so the bag is very durable for any occasion.
If you plan on going to a sporting event anytime in the near future then you should make sure you’re prepared for the event. You should bring a camera, stadium cups and anything else you might need including your cheering equipment. Attending sporting events are absolutely amazing but when you don’t go prepared it can make it a lot more of a hassle then a fun event.

Author: admin

When you think of the month of February, there’s probably not much good that you associate with it. After all, the weather is cold, the sun goes down early, and there’s not too much to enjoy as the time passes.
While you may not be looking forward to the second month of the year, you should also keep a few things in mind that give you something to look forward to. The month isn’t as bad as people make it out to be.
Let’s take a look at some of the highlights of this month, as you might even be inspired by some of them. They’ll help to pass the time, and the month will fly by and be done with before you had a chance to think about it.
There are a few holidays during the course of the month, and holidays always help to make things interesting. While Groundhog’s Day, the first one to hit during February, isn’t too interesting, anyone who hates winter will appreciate it since it truly marks the impending arrival of spring.
If you’re a sentimental person, you’re probably already thinking about next Valentine’s Day. Still, anyone with someone special in their life should enjoy themselves this year, as the holiday falls on a Sunday. Perhaps a weekend getaway would make things interesting.
Later in the month, you may be fortunate enough to enjoy the day off for President’s Day. Depending on your job, you may get a weekday off, and hopefully you’ll make the most of this. Students at schools will certainly enjoy the week off that many of them give during the course of this month. If you’re in college, your spring break may even occur near the end of the month, as a warm destination could certainly await you.
I’ve focused on holidays so far, but there’s a lot more to be excited about too, especially if you’re into sports. As you may well know, the Olympics will take place during the month of February, and the coverage of the events should make this once every four years occasion really special.
If you’re a basketball fan, you’ll have the NBA All-Star weekend to look forward to during the second half of the month. Not only will you get to see the best players in the sport going head to head, but the slam dunk and three point contests should make things even more enjoyable.

Sports and athletics are such a pervasive force in American culture that few people can avoid their impact. Memories of an important game, event, score, or sports outing are often long lasting whether they are at the institution, team or individual level.
Personalized bottled drinking water is an excellent way to create lasting memories and produce high quality messages. Branding messages are available for teams, institutions and individuals.
Private label water is also an ideal vehicle for fund raising by schools, teams and individuals. Sales revenue through personalized bottled water sales at school sporting events helps ease current budget restrictions.
Sports in America
America is a sporting country with a substantial amount of time and resources devoted to the enjoyment of competitive sporting activities. Sports go hand in hand with a health and wellness life style and competitiveness is an important element in building character in our country’s youth and future leadership.
From childhood until post retirement, sports and athletics serve to entertain and create role models as part of programs of exercise and healthy living. As children and young adults combine competition with sound programs of academics and extra curricular activities character and integrity are created. Continuing through adulthood, middle age and retirement athletics are a constant factor in American life. Many retirees spend a great deal of their free time pursuing sports based healthy lifestyles.
Sports in America is a major multi-billion dollar industry. Professional teams represent the major cities in America and engage in all major sports. Colleges base a significant amount of their activities and fund raising on sports and this approach permeates high schools, middle schools and grammar schools throughout the nation. Club teams and private leagues can be found in many towns and cities. Suppliers of sports products rank among the Fortune 500 of companies.
In addition to team sports, almost every family in the country is engaged in some form of sports activity with such sports as golf, skiing, water sports, bowling, outdoor events and others ranking high on the list of family oriented activities.
The Value of Memorable Events
Pleasant memories of unique performance or events are the result of many sporting activities. Often the powerful memories of a winning season for a local team, the big game that a child participates in, the unforgettable birdie, eagle or hole in one on the golf course and other memories remind one time and again. Many people derive significant pleasure from these memories.
Over time however, even the most powerful memories fade and memorabilia are often valuable as reminders. These reminders take many forms but serve to create continuity and continued interest in the healthy lifestyle of sports and athletic competition. Since individual and team performance is often the result of many hours of practice and hard work, a reminder of accomplishment is often valuable.
Personalized Bottled Water Memories
Personalized bottled water is an excellent way to preserve the memory of important sporting events. With a custom designed label for each and every occasion, water can be consumed at the event or at a later date. In addition, personalized bottled water is ideal for team sports or individual participants and is an effective vehicle for fund raising events.
The technology is available to create a cost effective, high quality personalized label that imparts a lasting message. Application of a custom designed label to a quality water bottle adds a powerful individualized advertising component to a high quality refreshment drink.
Often referred to as consumable advertising, personalized bottled water can include graphics and pictures as well as text that can refer to a specific event and can often be modified for subsequent events. Designed labels can be stored for future use and other occasions.
An additional feature of personalized bottled water is the fact that water bottles can be stored for future occasions and for extended periods if the water contains no minerals or contaminants. An important feature of branded drinking water is the long term nature of the message. Many people who receive private label water tend to retain the bottles because of the uniqueness of the message and quality of the label.
Create a Personal Message and Brand
Although brand creation has been identified with businesses, individuals can create their own brand image related to their interest in sports. Private labeled water for the golfer, hunter, fisherman or sports car enthusiast can convey a personal message or one related to an individual’s club or organization. Personalized branding can create interest and enjoyment at later events or family gatherings.
The key to the creation of an effective message is the development of a focused, crisp, unique message that is simple yet powerful. As a result, care must be taken during label design to stay on message and keep the communication simple
For those individuals that are involved in sports and athletics as a business, personalized bottled water can provide a powerful brand image and message and complement marketing and business development efforts.
An Ideal Fund Raiser
Personalized bottled water is ideal for events and fund raising with a custom designed label prepared for the particular event. Often, bottles of water can be sold at these events at a profit and represent a wholesome, effective way of raising funds for booster clubs and other organizations.
Private labeled water is flexible for fund raising because the basic label can be modified for other sporting events at a later date. In addition, schedules and other information pertinent to sporting events can be easily added or altered.
Today, many schools are under significant budget reduction pressure and sporting events for schools offer new ways to increase revenue. Sales of water with a branding message attached in the form of custom label have proved very popular and water can be sold at a profit at events. Further, when the label is retained by the school or the supplier, modifications for latter events are easy and fast.
Water is a major component of a healthy life style and, compared to other fund raising products like candy, pizza and sugar laden soft drinks, offers a quality alternative to the consumer.
Personalized Bottled Water for the Individual
For many individuals sports like golf, sport fishing, running and other outdoor activities represent important parts of their lives and private labeled drinking water can serve as a reminder of their enjoyment with the sport.
Specific uses include boat outings, golf weekends, hunting parties, bowling teams and leagues and many other sports applications that are made more memorable and enjoyable with personalized water for the individual or occasion. The applications are only limited by the user’s imagination.
Some bottled water companies can create a custom background label that serves as a template for many different types of events or sports activities. Some vendors include standard templates that an individual can use for their own message. The best suppliers have technology that gives the individual, team or institution the ability to design their own labels. .
The Element of Quality
An overriding feature in the creation of personalized bottled water is the consideration of quality in three areas:
o Quality of water
The basic element of private labeled bottled water is, of course, water and there are many differences in the quality of bottled water. Ultra pure bottled water produced by a combination distillation/filtration/ozonation process is considered by many to be the best quality because it does not contain minerals, contaminants or bacteria.
o Quality of packaging
Since personalized bottled water combines health, refreshment and advertising, the packaging component of the mix must make a quality statement. Substandard bottle quality will seriously compromise the strength of the message.
o Quality of labeling design, printing and application
The label is the element that states the message and the message must be communicated in the strongest and clearest possible way. The label should be developed by a graphics designer or with technology that will aid the consumer in developing their own quality image. Printing is especially critical and the printing process should allow labels are guaranteed to have the same quality of any top-shelf brand in your grocer or quality food store.
All labels should be water proof and preferably laminated to ensure a long service life.
What to Look For In Private Label Water
Personalized bottled water has become increasingly popular for sporting events, teams and participants. This is particularly true with the advent of e-commerce that allows users the ability to design a label and purchase water online through the internet.
Quality is the critical issue because the label serves as a statement for the team, institution or individual. If any portion of the water/package/label mix contains substandard quality, then the entire message is compromised.
Dealing with a reputable vendor with a reputation for quality, customer service and the ability to design labels and place orders on line will guarantee customer satisfaction.

An Overview of Winter Olympic Skiing Events
Author: admin

Are you a skiing fan? If so, you’ll be happy to hear that the 2010 Winter Olympic games are just around the corner. Let’s talk about some of the skiing events that will take place. Generally speaking, skiing is one of the most highly watched sports in the Olympics. Figure skating has a tendency to grab a lot of headlines, but a really large number of people spend time following a sport they might do themselves on the winter weekend — skiing.
Here is a quick overview of the skiing events that will be held:
* Alpine Skiing
This is perhaps some of the most challenging skiing that you’ll see taking place at the Olympics. Athletes are required to do some very grueling maneuvers in an effort to stay on the course.
* Cross Country Skiing
You better be in good shape if you hope to compete in this event! Here you’ll see less jumping and stunts and more endurance and horsepower.
* Freestyle Skiing
May the best acrobat on skis win! You’ll see a lot of participants performing maneuvers that you typically only see gymnasts doing — except these people are on skis!
* Nordic Combined
This is a combination of cross-country skiing and ski jumping. It’s not for the faint of heart or anyone else who isn’t in both excellent shape AND that possesses nerves of steel.
* Ski Jumping
Have you ever wanted to race down a sheet of ice and be flung into the air at break neck speeds? If so, then ski jumping is the sport for you! This sport is probably the most iconic skiing related sport in the Olympics. Crashes are rare, but they do happen, and they can be spectacular.
Regardless of whether or not you are somebody who enjoys winter sports, there is little doubt that you will enjoy watching Olympic skiing events. Some people actually watch these events because they know there is a high likelihood that participants will crash into one another, fall or simply spin out of control. Stay tuned, these events are coming to a television screen near you very soon.

Sports Nudity Bloopers
Author: admin

Who doesn’t love watching athletes making mistakes? The media holds them up as gods and goddesses immaculate in their ways and the more fervent fans literally worship the sneakers they walk in. Some fans take sports too seriously. Other fans watch sports to catch those moments where the athletes are seriously embarrassed.
You can keep your mundane bloopers where the ball bounces of the head of the outfielder or the receiver tumbles into the opposing side’s coach. The bloopers that can be truly harrowing to the athlete are the ones where flesh is shone. The sports nudity bloopers are the most embarrassing form of messing up on the field and each rare moment in which it happens takes egos down several pegs.
The events most likely to produce some sports nudity bloopers are the most physical and intense until something pops out. Men’s soccer has a high probability of revealing more than the black and white checkered balls. Although a game played primarily with the feet, soccer players and not afraid to swing an elbow or grab a handful of shirt in order to seize the ball. Players soon hit the turf and start reaching around for anything on the way down, usually the shorts of the opposing player who while winning the ball pays for it in pride.
Another event infamous for its sports nudity bloopers is the one that claims to be the most manly: rodeo. The self-proclaimed cowboys tie themselves to a horse or bull for some eight seconds, get thrown off, and then have the nerve to talk trash about every other sport out there. Rodeo is the deadliest sport around because the whole idea is to survive several seconds tied to a one ton animal trying everything it can to drive a hoof through your face or a horn through your stomach. When errant horns or a horse’s teeth start ripping clothes, there is no doubt that you have to be nuts to get into rodeo, but you also risk showing the world that not everything is big in Texas.
Women try hardest to maintain grace in sports by wearing sports bras and shorts. The extra support makes the inevitable slip all the more degrading when it happens. Women sweat through their pants in tennis and reveal a lot in gymnastics, but what if you want to see what’s hidden behind the over-engineered, space-age material? Any sport with grappling such as mixed martial arts, judo, and wrestling have a high chance of a shirt getting pulled to the side and something popping out. If you’re aiming to catch a flash, then cheerleading is where to look.
Cheerleaders are notorious for tantalizing the audience. Some teams go so far as to demand members remove their pants before hitting the field and show a bit more than spirit. You might think that wouldn’t count as one of sports nudity bloopers, but I assure you those girls are coerced by peer and coach alike. Shameful and therefore funny.

Corporate Sports Team Building Events
Author: admin

Historically team building activities have usually been undertaken indoors with the boring old role plays and the traditional case studies. However there are many other unconventional ways to develop team spirit with your colleagues and subordinates. Healthy competition and a little sweat builds comradeship like nothing else. So why not explore the outdoors for your next team building day.
A Beach Olympic day can provide hours of fun. The activities that could be included are beach volleyball, a hundred meter sprint, beach soccer, a water relay or even a kayak league and much more. The teams can be split up into smaller groups and maximum involvement should be encouraged by giving bonus points for group involvement. Ensure that you stay safe in the sun by taking sunscreen, hats, beach umbrellas and drinks to ensure that all stay hydrated.
White water rafting is an adventure packed activity which encourages team building. This activity involves building trust as the teams are reliant on one another in an extreme situation. This sort of team activity suits those who have a love of adventure and adrenalin. It is not for the fearful and squeamish. As there is an element of risk in this sort of executive team building day, the company needs to make sure appropriate precautions are taken to maintain the safety of the staff.
Corporate triathlons are another way to build corporate morale and team spirit. It is an exciting way for those who are competitive to represent their organization against other companies. Staff can set up training groups to prepare and build their fitness and at the same time building rapport with one another. It should be supported by senior management as it allows people from all parts of the company to participate and get to know one another. It also encourages a healthy lifestyle, work life balance and shows that the company has a social responsibility and cares about their employees.
Executive adventure packed weekends complete with activities which include, paintball, clay shooting, mountain biking, skydiving, dirt bike riding, horse riding, hiking and much more are but another way of building team spirit and company morale. These weekends are exciting and give the employees the choice of activities to complete. Maximum participation should be encouraged. These suggested activities are excellent at building trust among staff. The challenges faced can also build strength and help individuals work toward outcomes. Team performance should be monitored feedback provided.
Whilst some of these adventure packed activities are not suitable for all staff of all workplaces, they are exciting, innovative and fun. Unconventional and dynamic, your employees will be experiencing something new and exciting. The last thing you want is for your staff to approach your next corporate team building day with cynicism and boredom. So challenge them with something new and try an outdoor or adventure packed day or weekend you staff won’t expect. They will be rejuvenated and inspired and appreciate your innovation.

Sports and Events That Can Benefit From a Go Pro Camera
Author: admin

Caving – If you’re caving you’ll have a helmet and a head torch so why not add a Go Pro camera such as the helmet hero. This way you can get some excellent atmospheric footage of your exploration and some recordings of anything you find. The great thing about a Go Pro camera is that they’re mostly waterproof to about 60 meters meaning you don’t need to worry if you get wet or fall over.
Spelunking – Spelunking is a kind of cross between abseiling and caving where you lower yourself into the cave via a rope. This then leaves you hanging in the great open expanse which can have a great feeling of adventure and reveal some stunning views.
Football – A Go Pro camera doesn’t only need to be used for extreme sports and sports involving big engines. And with the Go Pro Naked for example you can fasten a camera to yourself without the need for a helmet (which you make you look a bit ridiculous on the pitch). If you really enjoy your sport then, be it football, rugby, hockey, basketball, cricket or anything else – then why not get some great footage that will make you look like a pro when you play it back and that can also help you to critique your own technique.
Parkour – Parkour is fast becoming a phenomenon. Also known as free running, it essentially involves running across roof-tops, flipping off of tables and scaling high walls in a fashion similar to Spider-Man or Jackie Chan. This of course is one of the most visually stunning activities out there and can benefit greatly from some great camera work. Using a Go Pro camera you can get a first person angle on the action which will be great when edited into your online ’sampler’ (the video demonstration of a traceur’s skills that they tend to upload to YouTube). This is also a great opportunity to get some really iconic photographs of you or a friend sailing through the air.
Martial Arts – Watching a fight back from your own eye view can be a great and exciting experience, and again martial arts provide many opportunities for those ‘cool’ moments where you deliver a great roundhouse to the head or block and counter an attack.
Jet Skiing – Jet Skiing is a very fast sport that requires a high def camera to capture all the individual drops of water as well as a high frame rate to capture the scenery as it speeds by. Both scenic and fast, this can make for some exciting videos and some great still shots.
Snowboarding/Skiing – Snowboarding and skiing are two activities that feature great locations (snow covered mountain peeks to be specific) as well as high speeds and lots of exciting jumps. All of these will translate excellently to video and make for some excellent photographs.
Rock Climbing – Rock climbing is another incredibly visually impressive activity that not only involves many technical and dangerous moves but also some stunning vistas and views. Again this makes for some great photo-ops too and would look great on anyone’s wall.

Houston, Texas is big in every way; it is the biggest city in a state where people often refer to the slogan, “everything is bigger in Texas”. Sports are no exception with Houston having professional teams in every sport except the NHL and have hosted some of the world’s largest sporting events in the world right in this southern city according to a Houston 3PL warehouse company. Some of these huge events that have happened in Houston are Wrestle mania, MLB All Star game, US Men’s clay court championships, LPGA Championships and the Super bowl two times. The facilities here are amazing and are top of the line with Houston having the first domed stadium ever seen in the world that surpassed the Houston public warehouse for indoor events. Houston also has the NFL’s first retractable roof stadium called Reliant Stadium.
The major league baseball team in Houston is called the Houston Astros and they play at Minute maid Park that used to be known as Enron field. 2005 goes down as the Astros most successful season making it to the World Series against the Chicago White Sox. The team was originally known as the Colt.45’s but changed when they moved into the first domed stadium called the Astrodome. This name was the reference to the importance the space program had in the city of Houston. After that move into the Astrodome, they renamed the team to the Houston Astros.
Football is a favorite sport in Texas and the professional team in Houston is the Houston Texans. They are a new team having started in only 2002 after the longtime Houston Oilers were purchased and moved to Tennessee. The newly formed Texans get to play in Reliant Stadium which is a great stadium with a retractable roof. This can be closed for poor weather or extreme heat which is common in this city. Gary Kubiak is the current head coach of the Houston Texans and the owner of the football organization is Bob McNair.
The professional basketball team in this city is called the Houston Rockets and was started in 1967 in San Diego and then moved to Houston four years later. The name refers to the space and the rocket programs in Houston. Two of the best players for the Houston rockets were Moses Malone who played for them in the late 70’s and early 80’s and Hakeem Olajuwon who played in the 90’s both earning NBA MVP of the Year honors. Another notable player was the 7 foot 6 inch Chinese center, Yao Ming who became one of the most recognizable NBA players when he signed to be on the Houston Rockets in 2002.
The major league soccer team in Houston is called the Houston Dynamo and is the newest addition to the city’s professional sports teams starting in 2005. Famous professional boxer, Oscar De la Hoya has part ownership in the team that plays at Robertson stadium located on the University of Houston campus and is planning on building their own soccer stadium currently.

Watch Sports on the Internet With ESPN360
Author: admin

If you do not necessarily want to buy the full Dish Network sports package, or you have basic cable and cannot afford more, or you just are one of those people still in the Dark Ages of TV with only an antenna and you still want to watch sports, that is what ESPN360.com provides. ESPN360 allows you to watch sports on the internet that you otherwise not might be able to watch. Even if you have every sports channel possible on DirecTV or Dish Network (they have more sports than anyone as they are satellite providers), you will still be able to catch a few sporting events exclusively on ESPN360 and nowhere else.
These days, a lot of internet users want to watch sports on the internet for whatever reason. Of course it helps if you have a fast connection, but fast connections are common these days. Most readers of this article will be able to watch ESPN360, provided their internet company provides it. The list of providers will continue to grow, I am sure, as it is becoming quite the popular place to watch sports on the internet in general and to watch soccer internet matches exclusively, for one.
As for the ESPN360 schedule of live events, on the day I am writing this (Thursday, October 9) I see 15 live events scheduled to show. Some events like college football, UEFA Champions League matches, NFL games, etc. will be shown live on TV and on ESPN360. For the soccer lovers who do not have the dough to be able to get all the soccer channels on satellite TV, ESPN360 includes Serie A, the Dutch league, Chinese league, U.S. soccer and other soccer matches that you will not see on any channel in the U.S. So for the soccer fanatics like me, it is fantastic to be able to watch soccer on the internet with ESPN360. They even show some futsal and beach soccer when they have tournaments.
These days, sports fans want more and more options for watching sports. I know as I am one myself. When I miss a game or can’t find it anywhere else I’m often able to go to ESPN360 online and catch it. One of the best features is they save most every game shown on ESPN360 for you to come and watch it later. You just have to search on their convenient list for the game you want to see, even after it has already ended. That is the beauty of watching TV online and that is why I think it will happen more and more in the future.
